Recoil Aerospace LLC, an innovative designer and manufacturer of lightweight, carbon fibre composite wildland fire suppression tanks, aircraft aerostructures, and ballistically tolerant auxiliary fuel tanks for helicopters, has signed a Letter of Intent to acquire controlling ownership. This agreement allows Blackhawk to diversify into a booming industry while also providing Recoil’s products its manufacturing experience and capabilities. Recoil is partnering with to expand the reach of our lightweight, cost-effective products around the world.
Recoil’s safe, cost-effective solutions in the aerospace market will be grown and expanded by Blackhawk, an industry leader in developing, certifying, and manufacturing performance product upgrades for aircraft. Recoil’s product line in the rotorcraft market will be expanded thanks to Blackhawk decades of experience in production design and certification, its government and defence division’s government programme skills, and its composite division’s capabilities.
